When to visit Vanuatu
The dry season from May to October is the best time to visit Vanuatu. The ocean is calm and clear with the best visibility for snorkelling and diving, and clear skies mean you’ll get great views of Mount Yasur if you explore the island of Tanna.
If you want to see the Nagol land diving ritual on Pentecost island, plan to visit Vanuatu between April and June (yam harvest season). The ritual also only takes place on Sundays, so make sure you organize your schedule around this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Don't forget an eSIM for Vanuatu
Because Vanuatu is such a remote island, not all eSIM companies will keep you connected. Holafly, Saily, and Roamless all have eSIMs for Vanuatu, but the pricing can be on the expensive side — around 8 USD per GB.
Explore global eSIM options, discounts, and other providers to find the best eSIM for Vanuatu. Having internet access for maps, social media, and communication makes travelling so much easier.
