I blog because I love it! I’ve been writing a public journal-style blog as a hobby since 2012 when I went on my first big solo trip. I find it so cathartic and have loved checking back in on my old posts to remember some incredible moments I might have otherwise forgotten. 

After more than 10 years of travel, I’ve decided my blog could be more helpful if I share what I’ve learned, rather than just sharing stories. 

My goal is to help you, my fellow travellers, find inspiration in where to visit next, and to share some tips that can help you navigate some of the challenges that come with jumping into the unknown.

And of course, I’ll still be throwing in some personal tales. I swear an unusually high amount of weird things happen to me.
