I blog because I love it! I wrote a public journal-style blog as a hobby for years. And started in 2012 when I went on my first big solo trip. I find it so cathartic and have loved checking back in on my old posts to remember some incredible moments I might have otherwise forgotten. 

After 10+ years, I decided my blog could be more helpful if I share what I’ve learned, rather than just sharing stories. 

I hope you find some travel inspiration here, and that the tips I share help you navigate some of the challenges that come with jumping into the unknown.

And of course, I’ll still be throwing in some personal tales. I swear an unusually high amount of weird things happen to me.
