Hey! I’m Naomi. I’ve been travelling internationally as often as I can over the past 13 years. Sometimes as a solo traveller, and more recently, with my fiancé, Chesney.
Why I created the Runaway Traveller blog
I wrote a public journal-style blog as a hobby for ages. I absolutely loved doing it, but no one read it. (Except for friends and family, of course.)
So after 10+ years, I decided my blog could be more helpful (and readable) if I share what I’ve learned with other travellers rather than just sharing stories.
So here we are. I hope you find some travel inspiration, and that the tips I share help you navigate the weird and wonderful the challenges that come with jumping into the unknown.
Of course, I’ll still be throwing in some personal tales. I swear an unusually high amount of strange things happen to me. And I wouldn’t know what to do with myself if I couldn’t write about them.
